First Aid at Work

This three-day First Aid At Work course is for organisations employing more than 50 staff members and for high-risk environments. It’s AoFA accredited and covers content required by the HSE to comply with the First Aid At Work certification.

The First Aid At Work (FAW) course is suitable for:


  • organisations employing 50+ members of staff
  • high risk environments
  • light engineering and assembly work
  • food processing
  • warehousing
  • extensive work with machinery
  • working with chemicals
  • working at heights

The First Aid At Work (FAW) course covers:

  • resuscitation (CPR)
  • seizures
  • sprains and joint injuries
  • burns and scalds
  • bleeding
  • choking
  • head and eye injuries
  • poisons
  • chest pains
  • and many subjects…

Assessment and certification

Learners will be given ongoing assessment throughout the First Aid At Work course and must pass a final two-part assessment to gain certification. On completion of the course they’ll receive the nationally recognised FAW certificate, valid for three years.

In house: £1,395 + VAT per 12 employees – includes course handouts, a First Aid booklet and certificate.
