Mental Health First Aid Training

What is Mental Health First Aid Training?

Mental Health First Aid (MHFA England) is an internationally recognised training programme, designed to help people understand the impact of stigma, spot the signs and symptoms of mental ill health and provide help on a first aid basis.

Why is Mental Health First Aid important?

With 1 in 4 people living at any one time with a diagnosable mental health condition in the UK, it’s never been more important for organisations and individuals to be able to support their staff, students, or loved ones.

Our training is designed to teach you about the common mental health problems people face, including how to spot them, how to discuss them, and, most importantly, how to help someone who is suffering.

An MHFA course is also designed to improve your own mindfulness and wellbeing, and will provide actionable tips on how to create and maintain a healthier lifestyle, workforce, or community. Call us on 0800 0467 410 or contact us for more information on all our first aid training courses and mental health courses.

All of our MHFA instructors have attended our Instructor Training programme, accredited by the Royal Society for Public Health, and are specially trained to keep people safe and supported while they learn.
