In this course that’s suitable for beginners, we cover the essentials including health and safety regulations and how to respond to a range of incidents such as common workplace injuries, choking and seizures.

Our workplace First Aid public course complies with the requirements as set out by the Health and Safety Executive (HSE).

The Emergency First Aid at Work course covers a range of essential topics, including:

The Emergency First Aid at Work public course is for low risk workplaces with minimum workforce numbers and will teach delegates essential skills to deal with common incidents at work. This course is perfect for anyone who wants to learn more about administering first aid in the workplace, but is particularly useful for managers and health and safety officers.

How long does it take to complete the emergency first aid at work training?

This public course is designed to be completed over a single day from 9:30 am – 4:30pm.

Will there be an assessment?

There is no formal exam. Instead your trainer will provide an on-going assessment of your performance and take the time to ensure that all delegates fully understand the theoretical and practical elements of the course.

Do I need prior knowledge to take the public course?

No, we work with complete beginners and take a proactive approach to delivering our first aid at work training. We believe first aid is for everyone and want to help spread our knowledge and expertise to others to help people who are in distress from an accident or illness, and help save lives too!
