This course is designed for parents, carers, grandparents, or anyone who cares for babies that needs more flexibility in their learning. A paediatric first aid course online enables you learn life-saving techniques with an interactive and flexible platform.

Our first aid courses online are designed so there is no pressure to complete it by a certain deadline or to attend any classroom sessions – perfect for new parents who run a busy schedule. A flexible learning approach means there will be no disruptions to your childcare or work duties.

We recommend that the online course will take approximately 1 – 1.5 hours to complete, and you are free to log-in whenever you like.
What’s more, the course is designed to be interactive and engaging with a number of quizzes, videos and audio features. The different sections are split into manageable chunks, with short tests throughout to check you’ve understood and remembered the content.

The course is designed to teach you how to identify and respond to a number of common incidents. As well as learning what should be in a baby first aid box, you will learn how to deal with:

• Babies who are unresponsive
• Seizures
• Choking
• Bleeding
• Shock caused by severe blood loss (hypovolemic shock)
