How will I learn?
Our online first aid courses are designed so there is no pressure to complete it by a certain deadline or to attend any classroom sessions – perfect for new parents who run a busy schedule. A flexible learning approach means there will be no disruptions to your childcare or work duties.
We recommend that the online course will take approximately 1 – 1.5 hours to complete, and you are free to log-in whenever you like. The course is purpose-built for people who want to pick-up the essentials quickly but also want to enjoy the learning process. Once you finish the online course you will be able to download a certificate.
Start Your Baby First Aid Online Course
The course is designed to teach you how to identify and respond to a number of common incidents. As well as learning what should be in a baby first aid box, you will learn how to deal with:
• Babies who are unresponsive
• Seizures
• Choking
• Bleeding
• Shock caused by severe blood loss (hypovolemic shock)
• Anaphylactic shock
• Burns or scalds
• Suspected fractures
• Foreign bodies in eyes, ears or nose
